The Induction of The Rev. Julia Wiley took place on Wednesday 1st September.

Rev. Julia Wiley opened Morning

Worship by dedicating the new

CH4 Church Hymn Books kindly

donated by The Craft Group, The

Thrift Shop and some members

of the congregation. The Banner

Made by the Craft Group was

also dedicated at the same time.

 

Our grateful thanks to all who

participated in the donation of these wonderful gifts.

Moonwalk

 

Julia completed the

Moonwalk and raised

£750 (although this

is not the final figure )

for the Charity. The

final figure will be

announced when Julia

returns from a well

deserved holiday.

A big ‘Thank You’ to all who contributed and to all the band of volunteers who collected round the town. We managed to raise

£2,053.89

Christian Aid - 2011

The Flower Festival

Armadale Church held their first Flower Festival on Saturday 10th September. Donations of flowers were received from all the organisations, members and friends.

The total sum raised for Church Funds is a fantastic £1,372.

 

Thanks to all who assisted and donated the flowers and baking for the teas.

Rev. Julia Wiley conducted the

Services at 11am and 6.30pm.

 

1st Armadale Girls Brigade

 

The Girls decorated one of the windows for the Harvest Service. Their efforts were much commented upon and a nice addition to the harvest theme.

Sunday 13 November

Remembrance Sunday

 

The Service of Remembrance

was held at the War Memorial

at 11am and the Church Service

in Armadale Parish Church started

at 11.30am.

1st Armadale Girls Brigade

 

The girls did a ‘bag packing’ day at

the local Armadale branch of

Scotmid and raised the amazing

sum of £614.64. A huge thank you to

all who contributed and a big thanks

                    to the staff of the supermarket.

Christmas Fayre

 

The total raised to date is £1,170 - a wonderful response and a really great day. The Fundraising Group would like to thank everyone who made this possible.

Gift Service

 

 

 

Children from the Sunday School and X-treme Team plus members of the Congregation brought along Christmas parcels and toys to our morning Service. The presents were then collected by West Lothian Social work and will be distributed throughout the County making Christmas better for a number of families.

 

Thanks to all who contributed and to the Sunday School Leaders for organising it.

The Sunday School produced a fantastic selection of Cupcakes and other delicious cakes for their fundraising venture. It was very well attended and the fantastic sum of £350 was raised. Thanks to all who contributed.
